Introduction
Our college started B.Sc Program in Computer Science in the academic year 1999-2000 with an intake of 24 students. The department had an increase in the intake of students from 24 to 34 in the academic year 2008-2009. In the academic year 2010-2011, the program was regularized and was sanctioned aided status by the Government. The IT boom and the rapid growth in Science and Technology have opened new vistas of job opportunities. Our B.Sc Computer Science program aims at equipping the learners to stand up to the competitive and changing world and to meet the spiraling demand of the IT industry. The department offers many activities such as invited talks, industrial visits, project assistance, quiz competition etc. for enhancing the students’ self learning capability.
